Torres out of Sunderland tie

LIVERPOOL, March 2 – Liverpool striker Fernando Torres will be sidelined again when the Reds face Sunderland in Tuesday's Premier League clash at Anfield.

FERNANDO_TORRESTorres missed Saturday’s defeat at Middlesbrough with an ankle injury which has not healed sufficiently for the Spain star to return for a game Liverpool have to win to keep their faint title hopes alive.

Boss Rafael Benitez, whose side are seven points behind leaders Manchester United having played a game more, will also be without defenders Alvaro Arbeloa, who has a hamstring problem, and Daniel Agger, who has a back injury.
