In a run up to his highly anticipated “Legend” concert set to be held on 30th June 2017; Ugandan born Jose Chameleone has released the video for his single “Sili Mujjawo”.

The song, which provides a running social commentary of the problems everyday citizens in Uganda face, is shot in a movie theatre with Chameleone narrating the tale while black and white images are juxtaposed in the narrative providing for a very visual if not genuine portrait of life for ordinary Ugandans.
In the song, he decries the lack of children attending Sunday school as part of their formation which unchecked can lead to an increased level of schadenfraude at people’s misfortunes as opposed to unity, a sense of positivity and love which are key pillars in today’s society.
The message in “Sili Mujjawo” is sure to resonate with Africans all around the continent dealing with similar issues in varying degrees and is another feather in the cap of the only East African artist to be nominated in the Legend’s category in the BEFFTA 2016 (British Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts) Awards alongside Angelique Kidjo, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, D’Banj among others.
