  1. Dear DP Ruto,

Good words and you seem to me to be very sincere in your endeavours. But why are your offering Kenyans security guarantees which you cannot provide? Do you think terrorism can be solely fought through police operations? Where has that worked? Why not engage the Muslims themselves in confidence building measures and find out what is pushing youths to these activities? Do they have confidence in the local
security apparatus which they say is to blame for the killing and disappearance
of many youths? Is it possible the youths are actually hiding in mosques for
fears for their lives? It is not true to say KDF success in Somalia was due to collaboration with local militia including the Raaskaamboni fighters. Why not use the same strategy in Kenya?
Is it true that the county government is being kept out the security arrangements in Mombasa? Why keep people with influence and knowledge of the local terrain out of this essential undertaking? Why are you spending sleepless nights alone? Why not
summon Joho and tell him “Bwana keep your house in order”. Time is
flying and elections seem not to far off. With the great promise you have
offered Kenyans, and going by recent events, many Kenyans will be dead before
they see that promise. So sir, act urgently on this because people will not
    remember your other good efforts.

  2. “Security is the responsibility of each and everyone of us” – Journalists and even the Governor of Mandera warned of the entry of 3 truckloads of gunmen from Gedo into Kenya on NOV 10th, yet nothing was done. – What more do you want us to do? form our own militia to protect ourselves?

Law enforcement is a pit of evil and corruption. Intelligence is docket is a bunch of buffoons. Military is busy selling charcoal with Alshabaab in Kismayu, and you, the top leaders, President and Deputy, are toothless dogs, barking as your home is ravaged.

I always knew Uhuru was a joke, but I always expected more of William Ruto. Jubilee is a waste of 5 years. But then again, what did we expect??.. In the meantime, let us see how low this country can sink.
