Irish rock band U2 are set to hit the studio and record brand new material which will is due out next year.
This will be the bands first new offering in over 4 years since their 2009 album titled “No Line On The Horizon”.
Talking to sources in a recent interview, frontman Bono revealed that the new LP will have a much more mature offering as opposed to No Line On The Horizon.
The Vertigo hit maker went on by saying ‘We’re in the studio trying to get approximately 12 songs absolutely right and get them finished by the end of November, and then we can kind of enjoy Christmas.
U2 were originally hoping to get the album out before the end of this year, but now the band is saying it will be out sometime early next year.
U2 has so far released 12 albums and have won numerous awards such 22 Grammys including a Golden Globe.
