Creepy, but true. British auction house Bonham is putting a lock of Mick Jagger’s hair up for sale on July 3rd. Where is said hair coming from? Apparently, the Rolling Stones frontman dated a model called Chrissie Shrimpton in the early sixties.
While they were staying at her parent’s farm, her grandmother saved a lock from his hair (we won’t even try and speculate as to how she came to be in possession of it). Upon her death, the hair was passed on to Chrissie’s aunt, and when the aunt died a cousin returned the hair to Chrissie. Quite a trip one lock of hair has had, eh? They should make a movie.
All the same, after proper washing and trimming, the lock is hair is expected to fetch upto $3,100. All the proceeds will be donated to Changing Faces, a charity organization.
Would you buy a lock of Jagger’s hair?
