Nairobi’s new talent MMchne has released his debut studio album. Titled 27’93, it’s available to stream via his YouTube channel, and will be available on other streaming channels in coming dates.
The album is a follow-up to his 2016’s EP ‘Black Hypothesis 1.0’ released earlier this year, collecting 8 new tracks, including early single “African Chai and a boflo”. The self produced album which has no features, includes contribution samples from different parts of the world.
The album is a concossion of ‘lite’ hip hop, trap and future bass, with spills of Rnb and soul.
The Rapper/singer/producer recently opened for Congolese Techno – Soukous Legend Awilo Logomba at the biggest festival in the country Koroga Festival, becoming the first ever hip hop act to perform at the festival where the album premiered.
“This album is very special and i think people will understand why..I think I’m more excited about this album than any of the other projects I’ve done before..i feel strongly inside,this is the chosen one, I believe in it.” He commented.
The rapper will also be officially launching his album at the Circle Art Gallery.
