A farmer was forced to kill a herd of cows bred by the Nazis because they were too aggressive.
The Heck cattle – which were bred under Hitler’s instruction to create a “master race” of cows – were sent to be slaughtered after they began attacking staff on Derek Gow’s farm in Devon, south west England.
The farmer imported 13 Heck cows to his farm in 2009 and has been forced to cull seven of them.
Derek told The Sun newspaper: “They are by far the most aggressive animals I have ever worked with. Some were perfectly quiet and calm and they are the ones we kept.
“The others you could not go near.
“The ones we had to get rid of would just attack you any chance they could. They would try to kill anyone. Dealing with that was not a lot of fun at all”
