With the 86th Academy Awards taking centre stage come March 12th, 2014 will see tonloads of great films battle it out to garner top honor’s this years Oscars.

 
Looking back at 2013 though, one amazing film that definitely deserves an Oscar has to be The Fifth Estate; the 2 hour long montage is based on the life of Wiki Leaks founder Jullian Assange who caused riffs in 2010 by leaking important Intel provided to his organization by various Whistleblowers.
 

Assange who in the film is played by actor Benedict Cumberbatch of Downton Abbey fame makes this performance so thrilling that you won’t move an inch away from your screen.

 

The film uncovers the humble beginnings of Assange’s life in Sydney to him be coming a somewhat Hero to the world of truth and justice.

 

The Fifth Estate is a slick, smart thriller that proves that justice is still served in Whistleblower Land.

 

It has a star studded cast of Laura Linney, Stanley Tucci & newcomer Daniel Bruhl.
