Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell is finally back in the limelight. He made his stage debut last week for the first time since he announced his cancer diagnosis.
On June 10th, Campbell took to his Facebook page to announce that he had Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
The June 21st appearance took place at HellFest in France, where Def Leppard were launching their summer tour. Chemotherapy has forced Campbell to change his hairstyle from the trademark curly, shoulder-length locks to a military style cropped cut, which he described as a ‘new aerodynamic style’.
But despite the chemo-induced hairstyle and serious diagnosis, Campbell is taking it all in stride and isn’t planning on missing any of the band’s tour stops.
