The long awaited 24K Magic has finally arrived. Bruno Mars has released his third album worldwide today.
The funky album is a follow-up to his 2012 Unorthodox Jukebox. The plenty of retro-vibe, hip-hop, and R&B flavor’d LP is definitely made for all his fans who’ve so far enjoyed his smash hit “24K Magic” and his bedroom jam” Versace on the Floor”
The nine track album is filled with “bounce,” and hippy simple lyricism. Bruno unveils ’90s-inspired cuts like “Perm,” “Finesse,” “That’s What I Like,” and “Calling All My Lovelies” featuring a voicemail from Halle Berry. Each of them, he’s said, is like a song from a soundtrack.
In an interview with Beats 1 earlier in the month Mars stated “With this album, I wanted to make a movie, “A real movie. I told myself, ‘We’re gonna have a screenplay and we’re gonna go to that.’”
Though the album is out Bruno fans’ will have to wait until 2017 to see him on tour. His ‘24K Magic Tour” kicks off March 18 in Belgium.
