Rock trio, Blink 182 have officially announced that work has finally begun on their brand new album.
The group which gave us hits like ‘I Miss You’ & ‘All The Small Things’ this past Thursday (12th) revealed that they have already started recording demo’s for the new LP which is TBA later this year.
In a post via his Twitter, the groups bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus showed a picture of progress made by the band in the initial stages of work for the follow-up to 2011’s ‘Neighborhoods’ and there most recent recording 2012’s ‘Dogs Eating Dogs’ EP.
According to sources Hoppus was quoted as saying, ‘This is just the beginning of what is going to be the start of a massive 2nd half of 2014’.
Hoppus went ahead to share a screenshot of the new demo’s see below.
Aside from spending hours in the studio, the groups other band member Travis Barker is busy promoting his Autobiography slated for release come October (2014)
The bands is currently on tour and are set to hit up the UK this July for a series of concerts kick starting off with the Reading & Leeds festival.
