A long lost tape interview featuring Beatles Star John Lennon has been uncovered.
According to sources, the interview was done just before his demise and was recorded by UK journalist Howard Smith over 40 years ago.
The interview which was focused on the bands Let It Be album lay forgotten in Smith’s attic for nearly 40 years but will now be put up for sale by an auction firm called RR.
In the interview, Lennon discusses about working on Let It Be as well as revealing how tough it was working under pressure and the band also having wrangles with each other.
Lennon also speaks highly of fellow band mate sir Paul McCartney saying that he was grateful for working closely with him on the somewhat strange LP.
The audio interview tape has a reserve of $300, but will surely sell for much more.
