NAIROBI, Kenya, May 21 \u2013 Information Cabinet Secretary William Kabogo has announced plans to roll out 25,000 free public Wi-Fi hotspots across the country to boost internet connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking during a live interview on The<\/em> Capital in the Morning Show<\/em>, Kabogo said 3,400 hotspots are already operational, with the full rollout expected to be completed over the next four years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To address maintenance challenges, the government will engage young entrepreneurs to manage the infrastructure and ensure sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe have now designed a formula to make it work \u2014 by handing over management to the men and women already based in those areas placesuch as markets and bus stations.
