NAIROBI, Kenya, Apr 24 – Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has convened a multi-agency emergency response team to deliberate on the country’s response amid the flooding situation that has been caused by Tuesday’s heavy downpour.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kenya Red Cross has been reporting that residents in various parts of the country are counting heavy losses as heavy floods continue to destroy their properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The floods have also damaged roads and infrastructure. Transport services in several areas have been disrupted in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
