NAIROBI, Kenya Sep 9 – Police have lobbed teargas to disperse students at Multimedia University where they are protesting the killing of their colleague by a Public Service Vehicle on Magadi Road.
Several students, mainly union leaders have been arrested as chaos raged for the better part of the morning, paralysing learning and businesses in the neighboughood.
Langata Sub-County Commander Gregory Mutiso has urged motorists to use alternative routes as they struggle to contain the situation.
The agitated students want action taken against the crew of a public service vehicle, that hit a student.
