NAIROBI, Kenya, June 12 – A guard was Tuesday night shot and wounded in a robbery on a clothes shop in Lonrho House at Standard Street in the Central Business District, Nairobi.
According to Nairobi Police Boss Philip Ndolo, “the gang of about three had raided the shop last evening and was later escaping when they started to shoot aimlessly.”
He stated that the guard was hit in the leg by a bullet from one of the gang’s pistol and later admitted to hospital.
Police indicated that they are yet to make any arrest over the incident and more patrols have been rolled out to tame such incidents.
