DCI uncovers human trafficking racket in Eastleigh

NAIROBI, Kenya Mar 31 – Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations have arrested two suspects on suspicion of being part of a racket that is involved in making false travel documents.

According to a statement on the Twitter handle, the George Kinoti led outfit says several Kenyan, Somali and Ethiopian passports which were recovered at a hotel located in Eastleigh.

Detectives believe that the two suspects are part of a larger group that smuggles migrants from the region to other countries.

The agency assured Kenyans of more arrests as it continues with investigations on the matter.
