NAIROBI, Kenya Nov 19 – The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination results will be released on Monday at 1.00pm.
According to the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC), the results will be released at Star of the Sea Primary School in Mombasa by education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed.
“Education CS @AMB_A_Mohammed to release the #KCPE2018 results at the Star of the Sea Primary Sch, Mombasa at 1pm Monday (today) @TSCKenya @KICDKenya,” KNEC stated through its twitter account.
President Uhuru Kenyatta who hinted on the possible release on Sunday will be in Mombasa and was expected to meet KNEC officials before the release.
The Head of State has urged those who sat the exams to be satisfied with whatever grade they rightfully scored, adding that the government will ensure they all proceed to secondary school.
The president further assured that every candidate will have the secondary school enrollment letters before Christmas celebrations.
Officials say there were minimum cases of cheating due to vigilance and multi-agency operations launched.
