8 Ambira High School students detained for 7 days

NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 26 – Eight students of Ambira High School will be held at Ugunja Police Station for seven days after the prosecution requested for time to conduct investigations.

The students who appeared before Ukwala Resident Magistrate Gladys Adhiambo didn’t take plea.

KNEC chairman George Magoha who is in the area accused parents for failing on their parental duties.

He says children do what they see their parents do.

Says that should they find out that Ambira students cheated, then tough action will be taken against them.

He was speaking at Rangala Girls Secondary School while inspecting the ongoing exams.
