, NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 29 – Two I&M Bank employees are due in court today over the theft of Sh27 million from the institution’s Kisii branch.

According to police, the two committed the offense by mixing 100 and 1,000 notes, in each 1 million bundle of notes.

“Mr.Tom Odhiambo Adinda & Mr.Daniel Ochieng Okweh; both employees of I&M Bank ~Kisii Branch & Key Vault custodians were arrested for stealing over Ksh.27Million from the bank by mixing 100 and 1000 notes in each 1M bundle of notes. To appear in court on Monday,” the Directorate of Criminal Investigations stated through its twitter account.

They were also key vault custodians of the bank.
