NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 22 – Two Members of Parliament from Marsabit have been arrested over intercommunal clashes that have rocked the region lately.
Those arrested are Chachu Ganya of North Horr and his Saku counterpart Dido Ali Raso.
Police say the two will be taken to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations for questioning and possible arraignment in court.
Police accuse the two of fanning clashes in the region, leading to animosity between various clans in Marsabit, where at least 14 people have been killed.
