NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 31 – The National Land Commission (NLC) is on Wednesday set to review the title issued for the land where Deputy President William Ruto’s Weston Hotel is situated.
According to the Commission’s Director of Communications, Khalid Salim, this is to ascertain ownership and propriety as mandated by the constitution.
The land where the hotel sits is claimed by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) and Executive Director Gilbert Kibe has said, it is among hundreds of parcels that it wants to reclaim.
The Commission will also be reviewing two parcels in Eldoret which are the subject of a dispute between Kenya Defense Forces, Leseru Tebeson Farmers Society, among other interested parties.
