NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 24 – Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe and her fiancé Joseph Irungu alias Jowie have pleaded afresh to the charge of murdering Monica Kimani in her Kilimani apartment.
They have answered afresh to the charge after the prosecution amended it to include the word “committing the offense jointly with others not before court”.
They denied the charges before High Court judge James Wakiaga who has dismissed a Non-Governmental Organisation known as Empowerment Through Media, that had filed an affidavit poking holes in Maribe’s probe, saying proper procedure was not followed.
The petition was lodged by journalist Josiah Murigu on behalf of the NGO.
