Ayacko clinches Migori Senatorial seat in provisional results

, KISUMU, Kenya, Oct 9 – The Orange Democratic Movement’s Ochillo Ayacko is the winner in the Migori senatorial election ahead of his closest competitor Eddie Oketch of Federal Party of Kenya, according to provisional results.

Ayacko polled 85,234 votes while Oketch got 60,555 votes.

Oketch was followed by Dickson Ogola an independent candidate, Peter Osieko of the Green Congress Party, Samuel Otieno and independent candidate and Solomon Hodo of the People’s Democratic Party.

According to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, these are results from all the 826 polling stations across the county.
