NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 31 – Seven Public Service Vehicle (PSV) operators have been de-registered by the National transport and Safety Authority (NTSA).
Through a statement, the authority stated that the SACCOs among them Molo Shuttle Sacco which operates the Nairobi, Nakuru and Kisii route should cease operating immediately.
“Following the violation of provisions of section 5(1) of the Natioanal Transport and Safety Authority (operation of PSV) regulations 2014, the following seven Transport Operators were de-registered from operating with effect from September 13, 2018,” it said.
Other operators that have been de-listed include Nairobi Kiruline Services, Gakanago Sacco and the New Lowland Sacco.
Additional operators are Hannover Commercial Enterprise, Newlot Sacco and Peja Travellers Ltd.
