NAIROBI, Kenya, Apr 6 – The National Police Service is investigating an incident in which an officer was allegedly caught on camera assaulting an unidentified man.

The officer can be seen telling the man to lie down on the ground as he steps on his back and holds his head down using his foot.

“Our attention has been drawn to a video clip circulating in the social media of a police officer allegedly assaulting an individual. We do not approve of it. We are reviewing the video clip to verify its authenticity,” it stated.
