Lawmakers to vet DPP nominee Noordin Haji

, NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 26 – The nominee for the position of Director of Public Prosecution Noordin Haji will be vetted on Monday by the National Assembly’s Justice and Legal Affairs Committee.

Hajj who is the Deputy National Intelligence Service Director was nominated by President Uhuru Kenyatta who forwarded his name to the National Assembly early this month for vetting and approval

Five principal secretary nominees, John Morangi, Alfred Cheruiyot, Jerome Ochieng’, Harry Kimtai and Susan Koech will also be vetted.

The Defence and Foreign Relations committee will also vet four ambassadors and high commissioner nominees.
