NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 13 – A Member of the County Assembly in Nyeri collapsed and died during the Jamhuri day celebrations within the county.
According to Nyeri County Assembly Speaker John Kaguchia, Peter Weru of Ruguru Ward collapsed while addressing a crowd at Ndunduini Primary School in Mathira Constituency.
Kaguchia said the MCA complained of weakness and requested to be taken to hospital.
