A structure on fire/FILE
NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 2 – Two children were on Sunday night killed in a fire incident in Kiamumbi area, Nairobi.
According to police, the two boys aged five and three were in their house when the fire broke out and burnt it down together with several other structures.
Police said the cause of the fire is yet to be established and efforts to know the same are ongoing.
In the meantime, a suspected thug was also shot dead in a botched robbery in Kariobangi area, Nairobi.
Police stated that the suspect is said to have been in the company of three others and had been attacking and robbing locals, when police were alerted.
The officers responded and killed one while the accomplices managed to escape.
Police indicated that they are looking for the suspects who escaped.
