Worker killed as Sonko’s Casuarina restaurant goes up in flames

, NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep 5 – A worker at a restaurant owned by Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko was on Monday night killed in a fire incident in Nairobi’s Buruburu area.

According to police, the fire burnt down Casuarina Restaurant at about midnight as workers closed the business killing one of them said to be aged 45.

A fire engine rushed there but could not salvage much as the fire had by then burnt a huge part of the restaurant.

Police say they found the body of the man long after the fire had been contained as investigations continue to establish the source.
