MACHAKOS, Kenya, Sep 15 – Three people were killed on Thursday night by Somali bandits in Mwingi in fight over pasture.
Kitui Administration Police Commandant Benson Wasike says the three, two men and a woman, were shot last night at Mandongoi area.
He says police from Kitui and Tana River counties have started an operation to arrest the bandits.
Early this year, two people were killed by Somali bandits in Mwingi in what was believed to be retaliatory attacks after five camels were killed in a fight over pasture.
