NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug 3 – Political fever in Kenya is arguably high, just a few days before the country goes to the polls on August 8 to elect different representatives for different elective seats.
While politicians are busy on the campaign trail trying to convert followers for what the pollsters have predicted to be a tight race, the Kenyan online community has decided to deflate the fever by making fun of the elections.
From opinion polls to different institutions and government bodies addressing daily press conferences, there’s a new craze on Facebook – the Canaan story.
Through an app that can be accessed through en.testony.com, one can click the link which directs them to a page that gives them a specific pre-determined answer.
Some of the questions that the app seeks to answer include the following; are you going to Canaan or not? What will be your role in Canaan? Is there a place for you in Canaan?
The test was created and distributed by a Kenyan musician known by his stage name as Anto Neosoul.
