Raila vows to champion youth agenda on the Homa Bay campaign trail

HOMA BAY, Kenya, Jul 17 – NASA leader Raila Odinga has accused the Jubilee administration of failing to address the plight of youths in the country.

Raila who is campaigning in Homa Bay County says the coming election is historic for the youth.

He says it is time for the youth of this country to chart their destiny through the ballot.

He says the current regime has failed to steer the country into prosperity exposing Kenyans to abject poverty.

The former Premier says parents toil to educate their children with hope of securing jobs in the government to no avail.

Addressing youths at Karachuonyo constituency, Raila said 12 million youths are currently jobless.

He says their lives have been made miserable by demands by the government to offset loans they took for their education.

Raila says a NASA government has goodies in store for the Kenyan youth and called upon them to come out in large numbers and vote out the current regime.

The NASA brigade has divided themselves into three groups to be able to traverse the vast county before converging at Homa Bay Stadium for a major rally.
