The IEBC has given Raila and his running mate Kalonzo the green light to contest the Presidency/IEBC
NAIROBI, Kenya, May 28 – The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has cleared Orange Democratic Movement Candidate Raila Odinga to contest the Presidency in the August General Election.
Chairman of the Commission Wafula Chebukati stated that Raila has satisfied all the requirements set out.
The electoral body also cleared his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka after verifying his documents.
Chebukati stated that they are now free to conduct campaigns across the county.
