CARGO AND VEHICLE INSPECTION
All the gates have been fitted with innovative inspection technologies that offer high-quality imaging of say a vehicle or a cargo being scanned.
To ease the movement of the customers, any heavy vehicle has a specific gate where the scanning machines have been fitted.
“The equipment we have invested in are quicker than what Kenya is used to,” the mall’s security chief said.
The mall has over 60 uniformed and civilian-clothed armed police officers and over 800 highly trained security guards.
PEOPLE’S FRIENDLY SECURITY SYSTEM
Unlike the norm, where a security guard is supposed to do a physical search; at Two Rivers, as established by Capital FM News, the process is entirely done through machines.
It will take a keen eye to realise he or she is being monitored.
“No one has infringed on my privacy, my handbag was not ransacked…it is all digital here,” Nancy Mugure said.
“My privacy was not breached since no one was touching me everywhere.”
Beryl Njeri shared similar sentiments saying, “It is security with style. Thanks Centum for bringing a first-world facility to us.”
Morris Moses, a Nigerian visiting the country said, “the security is perfectly coupled with a beautiful mall and a serene environment…I love the place.”
Such were the reactions from tens of curious shoppers at the Two Rivers Mall.
The only query they had was; is the Two Rivers Mall in Nairobi or Kiambu County?
