NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 14 – London based Kenyan preacher Gilbert Deya moved to court on Monday in an effort to stop the Director of Public Prosecutions from preferring child abduction charges against him.
Deya’s application, made through his lawyer William Ongolo, is in relation to the 2004 child abduction charges his wife faced.
Justice Roselyn Aburili however declined to certify the matter as urgent with a mention scheduled for November 23 once all the parties listed on Deya’s application have been served.
