NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 10 – Three hikers and a tour guide who went missing on Saturday in the Aberdares have been found alive.
Reports indicated the four were located in a moorland within the forest range mid Monday morning.
The four were in a group 60 from Nairobi and include two women and a man who were last seen heading to the mountain while accompanied by a local guide.
“Searches have been conducted in all the trails much of Saturday night and Sunday. Bucketlist Travels and the Kenya Wildlife Service and the Kenya Police Service earlier sent out a search helicopter but the search team was unsuccessful in their efforts,” Bucketlist Travels pointed out in a statement.
“Also in consideration for the families of our fellow hikers, we kindly request that we stop speculation until we give a formal report,” the firm initially pleaded.
