Capital FM News visited the scene of crime, a place where hatred betrayed love of a couple.
The memories of her neighbours are still fresh of the fateful night, one week later.
And what they say about the incident; “It was just bad. We still don’t believe a human being can do that to another person.”
Despite what has happened to her, Mwende’s advice to married people is “persevere despite challenges. It is not all cases that end like mine.”
She was just a true believer of family but she wants justice to be delivered.
She doesn’t not intend to drop her husband’s name Ngila “since the name is now in all my documents. We did a church wedding.”
