It was at this point that Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri sought urgent medical attention, after his condition deteriorated during the hearing.
The Chief Magistrate directed that he be moved out of the room so that he could get fresh air.
He was later able to return after which he took his plea and denied all the charges against him.
The lawmakers were set to know the fate of their application to be released on bail later Friday when the Chief Magistrate delivers the ruling on the matter at 4pm.
