NAIROBI, Kenya, April 2- CORD co-principal and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula will on Saturday launch his official presidential bid.
All the three principals of the coalition, ODM leader Raila Odinga, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Wetangula have expressed interest to vie for the top most position in the country.
Wetangula on his part has expressed optimism that he will clinch the coalition ticket.
“Everyone stand a fair chance of becoming the president of this country,” Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwalwe said ahead of the ceremony.
The leaders are expected to flank Wetangula while accompanied by other CORD leaders across the country.
The launch will be held at the historic Muliro Gardens in Kakamega County.
Security has been heightened ahead of the ceremony due to evident differences between the senator and the area Governor Wycliffe Oparanya.
