“The Deputy President is a national leader and we will not allow a few selfish politicians to reduce him to a regional leader,” said Waititu.

Ruto asked jubilee party supporters remain steadfast and support the party.

He said a few opponents of the party in Kericho wanted to create small fiefdoms for personal gain.

Said Ruto:”We cannot form government then leave it to go to the Opposition to pursue mirages.”

Ruto reiterated that Jubilee party’s commitment to unite Kenyans was unstoppable saying parties founded on outdated sectional or tribal lines will be vanquished.

“That is the reason why all Jubilee affiliate parties are uniting ahead of the General Elections 2017,” he added.
