Heavy Nairobi downpour didn’t dampen spirits of the faithful

“It’s hectic my friend. The askaris are not organised and there is a big force outside. They should have been better prepared. We got here at around 3am and no one was here to organise the whole thing,” another one complained.

They complained of poor organisation and lack of crowd control which almost led to a stampede at some of the entry points.

“It’s just by the Grace of God that we made it into the grounds unhurt because there was no crowd control. People pushed and shoved and we were almost caught in a stampede,” the faithful said.
