NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 11 – Police have arrested two women after they dumped two snakes at a relative’s home.

The duo was arrested at Mukindu Village after they dumped two green mamba snakes and a hippo bone at the gate of 52-year-old Irene Gatungo who is an aunt of the suspects.

It is reported that the two suspects had a protracted battle over a piece of land with their aunt.

“The officers were dispatched to go and verify that information and upon arrival, they confirmed that there was a note that had been stuck on the main gate of the victim’s home and there were also two reptiles,” the area OCPD Wilson Kosgei stated.

Police recovered the snakes and the hippo bone at the scene before closing in on the two suspects.

“The leaflet contained a warning reminding any other person not to touch it and had some more information saying no more fire, and figures 666,” he stated.

“The complainant was able to identify the suspects. We moved and arrested them and during the interrogation, the truth came out that they were the ones who delivered the material to their aunt’s place.”

“If they have got an issue regarding land, they should use the proper mechanisms to resolve it either through court and also elders can came in to see how the family members can be reconciled,” he said.

The police boss said that the land case had been going on for the last three years.
