Munya who was accompanied by Kinuthia Mbugua (Nakuru) and Jack Ranguma (Kisumu) said all county health workers had been paid their dues and the recent protests were due to promotions and trainings which the Governors insist have to be scheduled.

“There is insincerity in some of these industrial actions, promotions should be done procedurally, you cannot say promote us now!” said the Nakuru Governor.

“You need to evaluate staff before you promote them and most of the doctors are reluctant in filling the evaluation forms,” said Ranguma.

The governors also stated that they had developed a scheme of service for all counties to help resolve the Human Resource issues.

Senators present included Wilfred Lessan (Bomet) and Godliver Omondi (Nominated).
