Kuria alleged that Karua would bring the witnesses to him; “alikuwa ananiambia ‘tafutia huyu hoteli aandike statement’ (she used to bring the witnesses and tell me ‘get this one a hotel so that he/she can record a statement).”
He explained that his reason of disclosing such details at the pointing time was inspired by his will to ‘tell Kenyans the truth’.
He urged Karua to likewise not engage in blame game but also tell the truth.
‘What does Martha really want? We are not pointing fingers at who was right and who was wrong. We are saying it is a season of truth and honesty.”
In his words, he told he was not afraid of facing Karua in court and urged her to ‘bring it on.”
Karua through her lawyer Gitobu Imanyara has said she will sue Kuria over allegations he has made against her.
