Pastor Ng’ang’a to spend night in police cell

“The officers now came back here realising that they still have gaps in their case and asked the suspect and his co accused person Mr (Christopher) Nzioka who has also been brought to this station for their blood samples. Article 50 of the Constitution is quite clear that you cannot be able to incriminate yourself and you cannot be compelled to do so,” he stated. “They have also tried to ask for specimen handwriting of the accused persons. We are wondering whether there was some handwriting at the scene or whether there is anything to do with fraud at this particular moment.”

Nganga’s co-accused, Inspector Nzioka of Tigoni Police Station, was also briefly detained at Gigiri but later moved to the Muthangari Police Station.
