NAIROBI, Kenya, Jul 22 – The vehicle that will carry President Barack Obama during visit to Nairobi has arrived in Kenya before he touches down on Air Force One this Friday.

Two identical beasts – as the cars are commonly referred to – were seen fuelling at a Shell Petrol Station in Westlands before they were driven sandwiched in between armoured Sports Utility Vehicles, with sirens blaring.

The vehicles attracted a curious crowd of onlookers as they fuelled before they weaved in and out of traffic headed for an unknown location.

A helicopter that is expected to ferry Obama within the country was seen at the Kenyatta University grounds during a recce mission on Tuesday.

President Obama is expected in the country on Friday night for a series of private and official engagements, after officiating the opening of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit which will be held at the UN Headquarters in Gigiri.

Kenyans have informed that several roads will be shut from Friday 2pm ahead of the arrival of the US President.
