NGOs/Civil society has only 21 percent of trust whereas the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, Communications Authority of Kenya, Director of Public Prosecutions and Independent Police Oversight Authority have less than 20 percent of Kenyans’ trust.
National Land Commission (10 percent), Salaries and Remuneration Commission and Ethics (10 percent) and Anti Corruption Commission (9 percent) are the least trusted.
The National Intelligence Service, the Judiciary, Police and Inspector General Joseph Boinnet enjoy only 15 percent of Kenyans’ trust.
The Kenya Defence Forces seem to be the most trusted security agency at 32 percent.
The poll commissioned by IPSOS had 1,964 respondents interviewed between March 28 and April 7.
