Following the squabbles in the EACC, President Uhuru Kenyatta appointed Justice (Rtd) Jonathan Bowen Havelock to chair a four-member tribunal to probe the conduct of suspended EACC chairperson Mumo Matemu and Vice-chairperson Irene Keino.

Keino however, resigned from her position meaning she will not face the tribunal.

CAJ in its report had indicated that Mubea was earning the Sh780, 000 in full knowledge of Keino.
