, NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 10 – Four suspects arrested over the shooting of Kabete Member of Parliament George Muchai, two bodyguards and a driver will face robbery with violence charges Tuesday morning.

According to police, the prosecution has finalised the charges against the suspects following the killings that occurred in Nairobi last month.

A senior police officer who took part in the investigation told Capital FM News beat that they did not find evidence to sustain murder charges.

The suspects had appeared in court on February 16 but they were not formally charged after the prosecution applied for more time to complete their investigations.

Some of the suspects have previously served jail terms on violent robbery charges.
